Areas of Interest

Franco’s Law welcomes inquiries from attorneys with experience across a broad range of intellectual property disciplines. The firm has particular interest in attorneys with backgrounds in trademark law, including prosecution, clearance, enforcement, oppositions, cancellations, and brand strategy, as well as copyright law matters involving registration, licensing, enforcement, and digital content.

We also seek attorneys with experience in patent law, including prosecution, portfolio management, and patent-adjacent advisory work, and in intellectual property litigation, including proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and matters in federal court. Additional areas of interest include technology and intellectual property transactions, such as licensing, assignments, and commercialization, as well as international intellectual property matters involving cross-border brand protection and global portfolio coordination.

Attorneys with complementary experience outside these areas are encouraged to inquire where their background aligns with the firm’s long-term vision and strategic objectives.

What We Offer Lateral Attorneys

Franco’s Law provides an environment designed to support both professional excellence and sustainable practice development. The firm offers a flexible practice structure, including remote and hybrid arrangements, supported by administrative, operational, and practice-management resources that allow attorneys to focus on high-level legal work.

Lateral attorneys are afforded opportunities for direct client contact and relationship development, along with a platform to grow, integrate, or transition a book of business, as appropriate. Compensation structures are competitive and tailored to an attorney’s experience, practice focus, and overall contribution. The firm’s culture places a strong emphasis on discretion, professionalism, and long-term collaboration.

Franco’s Law recognizes that lateral attorneys come from diverse professional backgrounds and remains open to structuring relationships that reflect individual experience, goals, and mutual fit.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be actively licensed and in good standing in at least one United States jurisdiction. Candidates should demonstrate experience in intellectual property law or a closely related field, along with strong legal writing, analytical, and client-advisory skills.

A professional demeanor and commitment to ethical practice are essential. While a portable book of business is welcomed, it is not required and will be considered in light of the candidate’s experience, capabilities, and alignment with the firm’s needs and objectives.

Professional Environment

Franco’s Law is committed to maintaining a professional environment that promotes high standards of legal excellence, respectful collaboration among attorneys and staff, discretion in client and attorney matters, and ongoing professional development and practice growth.

The firm seeks attorneys who are motivated, detail-oriented, and invested in contributing to the firm’s reputation, culture, and long-term success.

Confidential Inquiries

All lateral attorney inquiries are handled with strict confidentiality. Interested attorneys are invited to submit a brief inquiry describing their professional background, areas of practice, and interest in the firm. Submission of an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship.

A member of the firm will respond as appropriate.
